Egyptophilia Books

Originally London based, “Egyptophilia Books ” has been trading since the 1980’s under the name Kamiliya Books, continuing now on a much larger scale in rare antiquarian books and periodicals, lithographs, maps, postal cards, 19th century photographs, covering the Middle East & the Arabian Peninsula, Archeology-Egyptology, Islamic Art and Architecture in all languages.

We also specialise on the literature and travel to the Hajj, including the iconography of the Mahmal (The yearly caravan travelling to the holy sites of Mecca and Medina which started in the 14th Century and ended the 1960’s) and its historical documents.

Experienced in building up libraries and exhibitions, we can provide advisory services for all the above (private & institutional)) covering most subjects. Also new titles and publications from Egypt and the Lebanon can be obtained through us.

Offers from private collectors or dealers of single ítems or collections of rare or fine antiquarian books in our field would be welcome.
